Anesthesiologist shortages are causing delays in surgeries and procedures, sometimes by over a year.

ALI is developing an AI-driven anesthesia infusion system that enables automated sedation and general anesthesia, allowing one anesthesiologist to oversee multiple procedure rooms. Cases requiring sedation would be able to safely proceed without an anesthesiologist present. ALI’s solution will also reduce the large number of infusion pump-related medication errors and the associated deaths and complications.
